Napoli are back at the top of Serie A, cementing their place among Italy’s premier teams.
1. Manchester City
Since Pep Guardiola took charge, Manchester City have become a dominant force in England, winning three league titles this year alone and possessing the potential to capture six more by 2023/2024.
City players have quickly adopted Guardiola’s philosophy, with veterans such as Kevin de Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan remaining competitive even at age 32 and 33 respectively. To topple them off will require something truly remarkable from another team.

Real Madrid are one of the most successful clubs in European football history, having won 14 Champions League championships and 33 La Liga and 19 Copa del Rey titles domestically.
Carlo Ancelotti has experienced mixed success during his second season in charge at Real Madrid. Last term they struggled against Manchester City, yet have made strides this year and now challenge for the title once more.
Kylian Mbappe is one of the frontrunners for this year’s Ballon d’Or, having scored multiple goals for both club and country – giving him a great chance of becoming the first in his family to take home this accolade.

3. Liverpool
Liverpool Football Club is one of England’s most celebrated teams, having amassed 19 League titles, eight FA Cups and 16 Community Shields over their history. Furthermore, Liverpool have six European championship titles along with winning both UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup trophies.
This club, founded in 1892, is one of the biggest names in football with many great players under Klopp. They boast amazing talent in both player management and leadership.
Even though Liverpool had an unsuccessful season last year, they should not be discounted outright. Form is temporary while class remains permanent – and Liverpool still have one of the premier teams. Plus they boast many young talents that will undoubtedly increase in performance moving forward.
4. Chelsea
Form is fleeting but class is eternal – something Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal can attest to this season.
Blues may not win another Premier League crown in 2023/2024, but they should remain competitive both domestically and in Europe. Todd Boehly brought in Mauricio Pochettino to help restore their winning ways and it appears he made an excellent selection – favoring younger players that he feels can develop at the club rather than opting for “traditionalist” alternatives like John Terry.
5 . Frankfurt
Frankfurt is known as one of Europe’s major financial and traffic centers, boasting low-rise residential neighborhoods surrounded by skyscrapers that rival those found in New York City and a climate comparable to New York’s.

Bayern Munich have managed to make it back into the quarterfinals of Champions League despite losing top scorer Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona this summer, thanks to players such as Leroy Sane, Sadio Mane, Jamal Musiala and Eric Choupo Moting who remain formidable opponents within Bundesliga.
This year, the NFL will play two regular-season games in Germany: Kansas City will take on Miami at Kansas City Memorial Stadium while Indianapolis and New England meet at Frankfurt Stadium – home of Eintracht Frankfurt.
6 . Villareal
Villarreal FC – commonly referred to in Spain as El Submarino Amarillo or Yellow Submarine – has long been considered one of the top football teams in Spain and have enjoyed many successes over time, such as reaching a semi-final position of the UEFA Champions League.
